I’ve never read “waiting” described with so much depth and emotion. I learnt a lot from this piece and I am bamboozled by your sagacity.

Wow. This hit deep. It just made me realise how I have been so hurt lately I have stopped waiting. I didn’t used to be that way. I have work to do now. Warmth to find. Thank you.

Such a thoughtful reflection.

Loved the line: Even in the ruins of my greatest heartbreak, I could never bring myself to look at the pieces of myself I gave away and call them foolish.

It is a very honest, raw piece of writing that showed so much courage of yours.

Thank you for writing this. I felt seen while reading it.The world has judged and misunderstood me for caring too much, and sometimes that makes me sad. But like you said, I can't function any other way. I can't pretend not to care when I do. I guess the world will continue to judge me for that, and honestly, I don't care anymore.

Thank you so much for reading. It also makes me sad knowing how much depth I hold inside of me and how much love I have to give and pour into others and it isn’t always reciprocated or met with the same level of intensity. But I haven’t given up hope. We just have to keep going until we cross paths with like-minded and like-hearted people. I know there are more of us out there. ❤️

I love those who love. We live in a collective patriarchal society so love is a liability vs an asset. I believe those who have desired and yearned wanted it so badly they allowed themselves to be strung out. Now no one wants to feel that way so we are here.

My recent self discovery and acceptance has made me be open very tiny to love.

This was really good! I especially liked what you said about nonchalance being insurance. So often we pretend we don’t care when the reality is that we care a lot. We’re avoiding the feelings that come from caring a lot.

Thank you! I feel like today’s society has normalized low effort and nonchalance when some of us don’t operate like that. I can’t pretend not to care when I do.
